“Do You Ever Question the Bible?”

Do you ever question whether the Bible really means what it says because what it says does not appear to be working in your life?

For example, take a look at this verse in Psalms – “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Psalm 29:11

If you are or have been going through some extremely difficult times in your life, you may be asking yourself, “God, where is this peace you promised to bless me with?” I have done that myself, on many occasions. However, I tend to forget that, while God has promised, and will give me peace, it does not mean that all the storms will be eliminated. If there are no storms then what exactly would God be giving me peace from? That is why the Psalmist says that “God gives His people strength” before he says “He gives His people peace.”

Whatever storm you are going through right now, trust that God has a purpose and will not allow you to be destroyed by the storm if you will continue to hang on, do right and trust Him. The storm will pass. We will be stronger because of it and the peace that comes after will be sweeter than we could have ever imagined.
Galatians 6:9 says this, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Together let’s decide that we will not give up!
I pray you all have a wonderful day!
